ABOUT THE EVENT
Organised by The Innovation and Commercialisation Unit, Office of Research, Industrial Linkages, Community and Alumni, UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan.

A platform for lecturers, researchers, university students, college community students, primary and secondary school students as well as for government and private sectors to share information and highlight research findings in respective research areas.
OBJECTIVE
To showcase latest product innovations and research findings from lecturers, university students, secondary and primary schools as well as government and private agencies.
To share information about research findings, product commercialization and awareness of intellectual property rights among the researchers.
To inculcate a generation of science, technology, and innovation by fostering research activities among lecturers, university students, college community students, primary and secondary school students, as well as government and private agencies.
CATEGORIES
Participants must be an individual or a group of no more than SIX (6) people, including the group leader. Join us with minimal fees based on the categories below:
Junior inventors from Primary School (PS) and Secondary School (SS)
Young inventors (students) from any public or private higher learning institutions:

Student Social Science (SSS)

Student Science & Tech (SST)
Professional inventors from learning institutions and industry:

Professional Social Science (PSS)
-
Professional Science & Tech (PST)

The cost for additional medals is RM80 for gold medal, RM70 for silver medal and RM60 for bronze medal (postage cost included).

​The due date and time of payment is on 20 October 2022 before 11.59 pm.
GUIDELINES & CRITERIA
Please read the following guidelines & criteria accordingly. Kindly contact our committee for further assistance.
Video Presentation Guidelines
1. Presentation can be either in English or Malay.

2. The video should not be more than 5 minutes in length.
​
3. These details must be included in the video presentation:
a. Project title & ID number
b. Names of team leader and members
c. Institutional name & logo
d. Objective(s), problem statements, description about your product/design/idea
4. Participants are encouraged to upload relevant documents related to the product/design/ idea such as patent application letter, papers, journals in ONE PDF file.
5. Video Settings:
Video must be uploaded in the YouTube channel. Please set the privacy setting to 'UNLISTED' if you want to restrict the audience to those who have the link only.

Must be uploaded as one single file with high definition (HD)

Duration: Maximum of 5 minutes
6. Participants are required to submit the link of the video presentation and other details using the button below.
7. Deadline for video submission: 31 AUGUST 2022.
TEMPLATE
JUDGING CRITERIA
The judging criteria are as follows:
1. Originality (The novelty and uniqueness of the product).
2. Usefulness (Relevance in solving the problems concerned and potential benefits to end users at different levels).
3. Commercial Potential.
4. Award/Publication/IP/Academic Recognition.
5. Framework or methodology on how the product works.
6. Video Presentation (The presentation should be brief, clear and concise).
RULES AND REGULATIONS

Entry is open to ALL professionals (Academic/Non-academic), students from institutions of higher learning (Diploma/Bachelor), primary and secondary school.

Individuals or teams of not more than 5 members and 1 team leader (maximum total of 6 persons per team) are welcome to take part in the competition.

The organizer has the right to reject any application it deems unsuitable for the competition.

The organizer reserves the right to reject any application in the event of falsification of information.

e - CERTIFICATE of participation will be issued.

Only ONE medal for winners will be given. Additional medals will be charged upon request. Payment will be informed later.

All decisions of the competition are final, and any disputes or appeals will not be entertained.

Registration is due on 12 AUGUST 2022.

The organizer reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without giving prior notification or any reasons thereof.
